Note:

Much of the character of the unusually bold and stylish western-style bungalow derives from the rough stonework in the porch, chimney, and porte-cochere—all credited to the handiwork of Oliver Nestus Freeman. This is one of numerous houses in Wilson with the distinctive stonework associated with Freeman.
