Note:

Jim and John Webb designed this modest, compact house for journalism professor Joseph L Morrison and his wife, Pearl, who lived here for more than fifty years. The house differs from most Webb designs in the absence of multiple-level roofs and a lower, recessed level. There are fewer windows than in the other Webb houses on the street, but the windows are strategically placed. In a 2004 interview with Claudia Brown and Diane Lea, Pearl Morrison remembered that her husband took great pleasure in being able to sit in his chair in the evening and look out at the woods.
