The Asheville Citizen of July 17, 1927, carried an ad for the Kimberly Heights suburb, showing several houses going up, one of which was L.B. Jackson’s stone home on Griffing Boulevard; Jackson, the developer who erected the Jackson Building skyscraper, was listed in 1929 city directory at 33 Griffing Blvd.
