See Manufacturers’ Record (Sept. 17, 1925). This building may have been built as part of the P. H. Hanes Knitting Company complex, which now comprises a 1920-1921 Knitting Mill Building (675 N. Main St.); a 5-story building (1928, 101 E. Sixth St., SE of the knitting building)—possibly Sirrine’s project; and a 6-story Warehouse and Shipping Building (1940, 600 N. Chestnut St.).
