Note:

The Wilmington Star, April 27, 1907, described it as a “Colonial style” church seating 200. Mary Bridgers, developer of the Carolina Heights suburb, was a Christian Scientist. The small temple-form building was sold to a Baptist congregation in the 1920s and burned in 1952.
