The Coddington Building, now known as the Polk Building, was headquarters for Coddington's automobile dealership, with show rooms in the first story and offices above. A renovation for a new purpose removed parts of its exterior skin and made other alterations, but its all-concrete structure remains. It is currently endangered by redevelopment plans in its location, and local preservationists are seeking to find an alternative.
