Note:
The small, beautifully composed church makes effective use of the local river rock widely used in the community. Designed by architect Lord, it was built by local craftsmen well versed in the tradition. It exemplifies Western North Carolina’s architects’ integration of familiar crafts traditions with the Arts and Crafts movement.
