Note:

See Davyd Foard Hood, Playmore/Bowery Road District National Register of Historic Places Nomination (2002). At the two-story, single-pen log house called Log Jam, the materials, design, and finish with extensive twig and limb decoration typify Webb’s best work in pristine condition. Especially notable are the stair with its limb and twig railing and the variety of natural woods used throughout the house. It was built for minister Sidney Louis McCarty, Sr., and his wife Louise Miller McCarty, who lived in Florida and Georgia but spent summers in Highlands for many years.
