Note:

One of the most readily visible of Joe Webb’s rustic log houses is the T- plan house of saddle-notched logs built as a summer residence for Dr. E. E. Reinke, a Vanderbilt University professor who served as the first director of the Highlands Biological Station. The building displays many of Webb’s characteristic features, including vertically placed logs in the gables and branches arranged in decorative patterns.
