Note:

Designed by the Savannah architect who planned the New Hanover County Courthouse, Rheinstein’s store building was a 4-story, brick and stone edifice in Romanesque Revival style which was called in 1902, “the most imposing mercantile structure in the city.” It was altered extensively in the 20^th century.
